My role at Couples Reconnect is to help couples find a wonderful way through the challenges they are facing. Every couple is different and what that journey looks like is also unique.
I hold a bachelor’s degree in Social Work and a Master’s degree in Social Work with a clinical specialization from the University of Calgary and am a Registered Social Worker in good standing with the Alberta College of Social Work.
My specialty is providing counselling for children, parents, families, couples, and groups, supporting them through life transitions, anxiety, depression, anger, increased stress, self-esteem challenges, relationship difficulties, grief, and trauma. I believe in using a collaborative and integrative approach, often drawing from Solution Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Attachment, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
I look forward to helping you reconnect as a couple in the most wonderful way possible.
Couples Reconnect, a branch of Calgary Reconnect Counselling Group, acknowledges that we are gathered on Treaty 7 territory, the original home of the Blackfoot Confederacy, comprised of the Siksika, Piikani, and Kanai First Nations; the Stoney Nakoda, comprised of the Chiniki, Wesley, and Bearspaw First Nations; and the Tsuut’ina First Nation. This territory is also home to the Métis Nation of Alberta, Region 3 within the historical Northwest Métis homeland. Located on this traditional territory, our mission is to spark reconnection and healing within kids, parents, and families. We do this work with respect for these First Nations and in a spirit of humility, kindness, inclusion, and diversity.
