SHE/HER/HERS
When you turn to Couples Reconnect for support, mine is the first smile you will see or hear.
Everyone needs help sometimes, and I understand how difficult it can be to make initial contact. When you call us, I will start by thanking you for reaching out. Then I will schedule an intake call to gather essential information and discuss what brings you to us. Getting to know your unique situation will allow me to help you select a therapist on our team who best fits your needs.
Healing is best achieved in a pleasant, supportive environment. We take great pride in hosting a plush space where couples feel warmly welcome, safe, and comfortable. Throughout your therapeutic journey at Couples Reconnect, it will be my pleasure to take care of the small but meaningful details, prioritizing your comfort and privacy to make your experience with us a splendid one.
I am passionate about fostering and supporting education and well-being in children, couples, and families. With a deep love of learning and an insatiable curiosity for all things psychology-related, I am a 4th-year psychology student at the University of Calgary. My role as an Intake Specialist at Couples Reconnect is awarding me invaluable practical experience to complement my studies. In addition, I am a volunteer student representative for the Psychologist Association of Alberta (PAA), I conduct mental health presentations at schools in Calgary with Mental Health Matters, and am a crisis responder for the Kids Help Phone.
I look forward to welcoming you and your partner/s to Couples Reconnect.
Couples Reconnect, a branch of Calgary Reconnect Counselling Group, acknowledges that we are gathered on Treaty 7 territory, the original home of the Blackfoot Confederacy, comprised of the Siksika, Piikani, and Kanai First Nations; the Stoney Nakoda, comprised of the Chiniki, Wesley, and Bearspaw First Nations; and the Tsuut’ina First Nation. This territory is also home to the Métis Nation of Alberta, Region 3 within the historical Northwest Métis homeland. Located on this traditional territory, our mission is to spark reconnection and healing within kids, parents, and families. We do this work with respect for these First Nations and in a spirit of humility, kindness, inclusion, and diversity.
